An exampler, well I think it is anyway!
In the past one of the tasks has been to draw a fuel tank in 3rd angle ortho, as well as an iso view. Then print this off. Easy Pezzy.
What learning happened? Well....
Today the students, CAT, day 5, are drawing in AutoCAD. Same task but from another approach... I was thinking what a fuel tank might look like in the Wilson 8M ?
Have taken a video in class of the students at the start, perhaps 8 mins ago. Will insert this here at a later date.
Question?
Is there any way of copy from one lay out to an other?
Yes but.... are you working on the read only or... No the read only... Is that smart or... Saved as... this conversation went on for a while until the student had established meaning.. I questioned, challenged but at no time gave what I thought correct was, rather they constructed this meaning...
Question... Anyone stuck? No reply
Q do you want us to take it from a particular station? What are the CI at the tank area(me)?
Are these different to the lines and the boat?
Inquiry
Collaboration
I look around and the students are fully engaged in learning..... what sort of learning?
Easy or hard?
Hard.
Have you measured the boat?
Conversation
Welcome Benny we missed you this morning. Yeah. I've been a bit sick lately. Are you happy with coming in late? No I've been thinking about that a bit.... Hey I recond you have the ability to easily catch up. Yeah? yeah. OK and he turned to his machine and got into it.
Not putting any pressure on but how long have you got to go? time.....
I've given an overview, set the rules(these are broad) Explained on A1 paper. Took them down to the workshop and showed location in the boat. Then said go.
Would be a good thing to have another videoing live and blogging as I find doing this at the same time stiffles my creativity. Get over it dude!
Q Hey Chris(from Benny) my numbers are very very very small how can I change that? Hold on for a sec?....
2 options here 1 is to show and tell or the other ... a gather round team... so we talked about the problem as a team... Some of the team had experienced the problem before, and found the solution and other had not experienced... yet...
